Chicken Tempura recipe is an exotic new addition to the tasty Chicken recipes of the sooperchef menu. Tempura is originally an Old Portuguese dish which was popularized by Japan after being brought to it. The recipe consisted of mainly seafood or veggies that were covered in a batter and then deep fried. There are many other continental and exotic recipes on the sooperchef menu like chicken schnitzel, chicken loaf, chicken spring rolls, spanish omelet and Italian chicken. Tempura cooking method was mostly used for seafood items like prawns, shrimps, squids, and catfish but with a Pakistani twist, it is now being used for chicken. The batter for the tempura recipes was prepared cold and light with soft wheat flour, eggs, and baking soda etc. Traditionally, the batter was mixed with chopsticks as part of a Japanese cooking tradition for only a few seconds, leaving small lumps in the batter which gave tempura a unique fluffy and crispy texture after it was cooked. Ingredients
- 500g Chicken Finger
- 1 cup Maida
- 3 tbsp Corn Flour
- 2 Eggs white
- 1/2 cup Ice Cube
- Salt as per taste
- 1 tbsp white pepper powder
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- Cooking oil as needed
- 1/2 cup Cold Water
- 1 tbsp White Pepper Powder Cooking Method
1- In a bowl, add maida(1/2 cup), corn flour (1-1/2 tbsp), egg white, ice cube, salt, white pepper powder, baking powder, lemon juice, cooking oil, cold water and mix it well. Paste is ready now.
2- In a bowl, add maida (1/2 cup), corn flour (1-1/2 tbsp), salt, white pepper powder and mix it well. Maida Mixture ready now.
3- Now, cover the chicken finger with maida mixture and then dip into paste.
4- Deep fry until light brown in the cooking oil.
Your tasty Chicken Tempura now ready to serve

بیکنگ پاؤڈر ایک چائے کا چمچ
لیموں کا رس دو کھانے کے چمچ
کھانے کا تیل حسبِ ضرورت
ٹھنڈا پانی آدھا کپ
وائٹ پیپر پاؤڈر ایک کھانے کا چمچ
ترکیب
۔ایک باؤل میں میدہ(آدھا کپ ) لیں اور اس میں کارن فلور(ڈیڑھ کھانے کا چمچ)،انڈے کی سفیدی ،برف کے کیوب ،نمک،سفید مرچ پاؤدر ،بیکنگ پاؤڈر ،لیموں کا رس کھانے کا تیل اور ٹھنڈا پانی ڈال کر مکس کر لیں ۔
۔اب ایک باؤل میں میدہ (آدھا کپ )لیں اور اس میں کارن فلور(ڈیڑھ کھانے کا چمچ) ،نمک اوروائیٹ پیپر ڈال کر مکس کر لیں ۔
۔اب چکن فنگر لیں اور تیار شدہ میدے میں ڈپ کر کے تیار شدہ مکسچر لگا کر کھانے کے تیل میں گولڈن براؤن ہونے تک فرائی کر لیں ۔
۔آپکا مزیدار چکن ٹیمپورا تیار ہے ۔
