Lab e Shireen Recipe in Urdu & English

Lab e Shireen is a rich, creamy and luscious Pakistani recipe which is eaten at many auspicious occasions like Eid, weddings and Iftar parties in Ramadan. Lab-e-Shireen is basically a custard and fruit based dessert which is highly refreshing and light. It is prepared by heating milk in a cooking pan. After that, custard powder is added to the heated milk and mixed well. Vermicelli, usually the thick ones are added then and cooked for five minutes. Following this, sugar and vanilla essence are added to the mix. Dry fruits like almonds, walnuts, cashews, raisins are also added. After letting it cool for around five minutes, an assortment of fruits which may include diced mangoes, bananas, grapes, chopped apple is poured into the mix.
