Mughali Tikka Gravy With Rice
Ingredients for handi:
K&N's Mughlai Tikka 515g
Oil 2 tbsp
Onion (chopped) 1 cup
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Tomato puree 1 cup
Salt to taste
Turmeric 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Red chili flakes 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Yogurt 2 tbsp
Butter 1 tbsp
Cream 1/2 cup
Green chilies for garnish
Coriander fresh for garnish
Ingredients for rice:
Rice (soaked) 1 cup
Oil 2 tbsp
Onion (sliced) 1/2 cup
Green chilies (chopped) 2
Garlic garlic paste 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Directions for mughlai tikka handi:
1. Prepare K&N's Mughlai Tikka as per the instructions on the pack. Set aside.
2. In a pan heat oil, add onion and cook until translucent for 2 to 3 minutes.
3. Add cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste and sauté it for a minute.
4. Add tomato puree, turmeric, red chili powder, chili flakes, coriander powder, cumin powder and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes.
5. Add yogurt and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes on medium low flame. Add water if required.
6. Then blend it into a smooth paste. Transfer the paste in a pan again and now add butter and mix it well.
7. Add prepared K&N's Mughlai Tikka, cream and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes.
8. Top it with green chilies, coriander and your mughlai tikka handi is ready. Set aside.
Directions for rice:
1. Heat oil in a pan, add onion and cook until translucent.
2. Then add ginger garlic paste, cumin seeds, green chilies, salt and cook for a minute. Add water as required. 3. Lastly add soaked rice, 1 cup water and let it boil uncovered on medium low flame until it starts simmering. 4. When water almost dries out, cover and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes on low flame.
5. Your rice is ready to serve with delicious mughlai tikka handi.
