Ingredients for Chicken Nihari Recipe
- Chicken (with bones) 500g
- Cooking Oil ½ cup
- Onion half
- Green Chilli 2 pieces
- Cumin 1tsp
- Ginger & Garlic Paste 1tbsp
- Salt as per taste
- Yogurt ½ cup
- Red Chilli Powder 1 tbsp
- Red Chilli Crushed 1tsp
- Coriander Powder 1tsp
- Cumin Powder 1tsp
- Dry Ginger Powder (Sonth) 1 tsp
- Hot Water 2 glasses
- Flour in tepid water ½ cup
- Fennel Powder 1 tsp
- Lemon 1 piece
Method Chicken Nihari Recipe
In a pot, add cooking oil, onion, green chilli, cumin and fry until light brown.
Now add, ginger & garlic paste, salt, yogurt, red chilli powder, red chilli crushed, coriander powder, cumin powder and cook it for 2-3 minutes.
Now add, dry ginger powder (Sonth), hot water and steam it for 8-10 minutes on low flame.
Now add, flour with lukewarm water, fennel powder and lemon.
Your tasty Chicken Nihari is ready to serve.
