Ingredients for Chicken Nihari
500 gm Chicken (with bones)
1/2 cup Cooking Oil
1/2 Onion half
2 Green Chillies
1 tsp Cumin
1 tbsp Ginger & Garlic Paste
Salt (As Needed)
1/2 cup Yogurt
1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Red Chilli Crushed
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Cumin Powder
1 tsp Dry Ginger Powder
2 glasses Hot Water
1/2 cup Flour in lukewarm water
1 tsp fennel Powder
Ginger, green coriander, green chilies(for Garnish)
Roasted Flour(mixed With water (As Needed)
1-In a pot, add cooking oil, onion, green chili, cumin and fry until light brown.
2-Now add, ginger & garlic paste, salt, chicken, yogurt, red chilli powder, red chilli crushed, coriander powder, cumin powder and cook it for 2-3 minutes.
3-Now add, dry ginger powder (Sonth), hot water and steam it for 8-10 minutes on low flame.
4-Now add, flour with lukewarm water, garnish, fennel powder and lemon.
5-Your tasty Chicken Nihari is ready to serve.
