Ingredients for Potato Toffee
1 & ½ all purpose Flour
½ TSP Salt
2 TBSP Melted Butter/Ghee
1 tsp Nigella seeds
Water (As Needed)
Filling Mixture Ingredients:
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp green chili (Chopped)
1 tbsp Coriander Leave (Chopped)
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Red Chili Powder
1 tsp Chat Masala
1 tsp Black salt
4 tbsp Gram Flour
3 Large Boiled Mashed Potatoes
½ TSP Salt
Instructions for potato Toffee:
1. First of all, add all purpose flour, salt, melted butter/Ghee, Nigella seeds, in a bowl, then add water gradually & mix well with the help of your hands, kneed a dough
2. Leave for 15-20 Minutes
Instructions for Filling Mixture:
1. Ad cooking oil in a pan, then add green chilies, chopped coriander leaves, Garam Masala, Red Chili Powder, Chat Masala, black salt, mix well & fry for a while
2. Now add Gram Flour, fry again until it changed into golden brown. Then add boiled mashed potatoes
3. Mix it well by adding salt
4. Filling mixture for potato toffee is ready to use
5. Now take some mixture from the dough (which is already prepared)
6. Make a small round chapatti
7. Apply 3-4 cuts with the help of a sharp cutter
8. Take some filling mixture (which we have prepared in 4th step), & press it with the help of your hands & put this mixture into that chapatti (which have 4 cuts)
9. Now wrap it into a toffee form
10. Cut it from sides to shape up the toffee
11. Finally fry these toffees until they changed into golden brown
