How to Make Channa Pulao

Ingredients for chana pulao

  • 500 gm Rice
  • 300 gm Chickpea (Boiled)
  • 1/2 cup Cooking Oil
  • 1 medium sized Onion
  • 1 tsp White Cumin
  • 1 tbsp Whole Hot Spices
  • 2 Green Chilies
  • 1 tbsp Ginger & Garlic paste
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • Salt (as needed)
  • 1 tbsp Red Chili Powder
  • 5-6 Plums
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Ginger
  • 1 tbsp Green Coriander crushed
  • 1 punch of Mint
  • Hot Water (as needed)

Instructions for chana pulao

1- In a cooking pot, add cooking oil, onion, whole cumin, whole hot spices, green chili and fry until brown.
2- Now add, ginger garlic paste, tomato, salt, red chili powder, plum, cumin powder, coriander powder, yogurt, boiled chickpea, ginger, mint, green coriander and cook for 5-7 minutes.
3- Now add water in it and boil until water remains half.
4- Afterward, add rice and cook it and steam.
5- In the end, add ginger, green coriander, mint for garnish.
Your tasty Chana Pulao is ready to serve.

  • زیرہ پاؤڈر ایک چائے کا چمچ
  • دھنیا پاؤڈر ایک چائے کا چمچ
  • دہی آدھا کپ
  • ادرک 5گرام
  • ہرادھنیا 5گرام
  • پودینہ 5گرام
  • گرم پانی حسبِ ضرورت

چنا پُلاؤ ترکیب
ایک برتن میں کھانے کا تیل لیں اس میں پیاز،ثابت زیرہ ،ثابت گرم مصا لحہ اور ہری مرچ ڈال کر براؤن ہونے تک فرائی کریں ۔
اب اس میں ادرک لہسن کا پیسٹ ،ٹماٹر ،نمک ،لا ل مرچ پسی ہوئی ،آلو بخارہ ،زیرہ پاؤڈر ،دھنیا پاؤڈر ،دہی ،اُبلے ہوئے چنے، گرم پانی، ادرک ،دھنیا اور پودینہ ڈال کر پانچ سے سات منٹ تک پکائیں ۔اب اس میں پانی ڈال کر اُبال لیں جب پانی آدھا رہ جائے تو چاول ڈال لیں اور تھوڑا پانی رہ جانے پر دم دیں ۔آخر میں ادرک ،ہرا دھنیااور پودینہ کو بطور گارنش استعمال کر لیں۔آپکا مزیدار چنا پُلاؤتیا ر ہے ۔
